TOKYO, January 16, 2025-ANA NEO,Inc. announces that it will end the services of the smartphone virtual travel platform app “ANA GranWhale” and “ANA GranWhale NFT MarketPlace” on February 28, 2025.

After the Asia pre-launch in June 2023 and the Japan launch in December of the same year, efforts have been made to improve the services. However, it has been determined that further continuation of the business is challenging, resulting in the decision to terminate the services at this time.

ANA NEO expresses its gratitude to all valued customers for their patronage and sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience caused.

◾️Suspension of the purchase of paid V-Miles and the exchange from ANA miles to free V-Miles

After the maintenance scheduled for January 22, 2025, the purchase of "paid V-Miles" within the app and the exchange from ANA miles to "free V-Miles" will no longer be available.

◾️End of Service

After 15:00(JST) on February 28, 2025, the "ANA GranWhale" service will end, and logging into the app will no longer be possible.

◾️The Miles Gacha

Users can enjoy the Miles Gacha using GranChips (in-app items) until the end of the ANA GranWhale service. Also, regardless of their expiration date, any GranChips held by customers at the time of service termination will expire.  ANA miles earned in February are expected to be reflected in customers` ANA Mileage account between the end of March and the end of April.

◾️Refund of Paid V-Miles

For unused paid V-Miles held by customers at the time of service termination, refunds will be provided to customers who apply during the refund acceptance period:From 15:00(JST) on February 28, 2025 and 10:00(JST) on April 30, 2025.

*“Paid V Miles” 

Refunds will be calculated at 1.24 0.82 yen per 1 V Mile (rounded up) in Japanese yen.   

◾️Handling of free V-Miles exchanged from ANA miles

For unused free V-Miles exchanged from ANA miles held by customers at the time of service termination, an equivalent amount of ANA miles will be credited to the ANA Mileage Club account of customers after March 1, 2025.

◾️Handling of free V-Miles granted by ANA GranWhale to customers

The free V-Miles granted by ANA GranWhale to customers are not eligible for refunds.

２．Schedule for the End of ANA GranWhale NFT MarketPlace Service

◾️Termination of transaction

As of January 16, 2025 at 16:00(JST), the buying and selling functions of the ANA GranWhale NFT Marketplace will no longer be available, and it will not be possible to purchase new items or engage in secondary sales.

◾️End of Service

After 15:00(JST) on February 28, 2025, the access and use of the ANA GranWhale NFT MarketPlace service will be discontinued.

◾️Regarding refunds for purchased items

Regarding items purchased at ANA GranWhale NFT Marketplace, a full refund of the purchase cost will be provided. However, in the case of products that have already been sold in a secondary sale, the buyer who purchased the product in the secondary sale is eligible for a refund, while the original seller is not eligible for a refund. ・Download of data

If customers wish to store only the product data as an NFT in their wallet without retrieving the actual item, they can download the data from "My Menu" under "Owned Items" and save it on their own computer or smartphone.

・Retrieving to the Wallet
If customers prefer to store the NFT in their wallet, they can retrieve the item to their MetaMask wallet.

◾️Regarding withdrawal requests for proceeds from secondary salesWithdrawal requests for earnings generated from secondary sales will be accepted until 15:00(JST) on February 28, 2025.
